Assist and guide by managing various feeding problems: difficult feeding, stunted growth (failure to thrive), vitamin and mineral supplementation, obesity, nutritional challenges for children with special needs.

Pediatric Consultations

Provide consultation services to pediatric patients who require health care: periodic examinations (evaluating the child's growth and development, according to age) or consultations for a health problem (infectious disease, vaccination, etc.).

Audiology

Conduct hearing assessments, including a screening test for newborns (to determine the presence of hearing loss) and a thorough hearing test for children and adolescents.

Usually, the main reasons for consultation are the presence of concerns about your child’s hearing, a language or developmental delay, a history of ear infections, a family history of deafness, a specific medical condition, or learning problems

Occupational Therapy

Evaluate and follow up on pediatric patients with various developmental issues that interfere with their autonomy, such as eating, self-care, clothing, leisure activities, play situations, school performance, etc. Occupational therapy sessions help patients develop or regain their ability to perform their daily life activities.

Evaluate and follow up on pediatric patients with suspected or existing food, environmental, animal, and drug allergies through skin and blood testing.

Diagnosis and treatment are provided (immunotherapy, desensitization, prescription of medications, etc.). We also provide advice for emergencies.

Orthopedie

Orthopedics

Evaluate and follow up on pediatric patients with various orthopedic disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves). This includes scoliosis, kyphosis, fractures, dysplasia, bone deformities, and congenital disorders.

Psychology
Psychology

Evaluate and follow up on pediatric patients with developmental, behavioral, and emotional problems: emotion management, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), anxiety, learning disabilities, problematic behavior, mental health problems, acute and chronic illnesses.

We offer individual and family therapy to assist in treating pre-existing or newly diagnosed psychological disorders and provide guidance to parents on their child’s emotional, social, behavioral, cognitive, and developmental needs.

Speech Therapy

Evaluate and provide intervention services to preschool and school-aged pediatric patients. These services include screening for oral language disorders, stuttering, evaluation of articulation through games, speech testing, and therapy sessions.

Physiotherapie

Physiotherapy

Evaluate and follow up on pediatric patients to identify specific pathologies or motricity problems (motor, neuromuscular, postural, bone structure problems, malformations). We also evaluate and follow up to identify congenital diseases (torticollis, muscle weakness, coordination and balance difficulties, atypical gait, global motor development delay, postural deficit, cerebral motor deficiency). In addition, we work to improve function, movement, strength, and motor skills in our pediatric patients through our personalized treatments. We also use standardized pediatric tests to evaluate motor skills in newborns, school-aged children, and preschoolers.

Evaluate, diagnose and treat a variety of central and peripheral nervous system problems. These include headaches, complex febrile seizures, epilepsy, developmental delays (neurological investigation), tics, Tourette’s syndrome, other movement disorders, suspected neuromuscular pathologies, etc.

Travel Clinic

Are you concerned about your family’s health when traveling? Prevention is the best strategy for dealing with yellow fever, dengue, Zika, typhoid, meningitis, hepatitis A, etc.

The ELNA Pediatric Travel Clinic offers you consultation services with an infectious disease specialist, Dr. Sarah Wizman, as well as all the immunizations you need to plan for a safe trip.

Infectious Diseases

As soon as they step outside, our little ones build their immune system and brave many infections. Whether it is seasonal viruses, skin infections, diarrhea, congenital infections, chronic infections, immune deficiency, or autoimmune diseases, we will evaluate all your concerns and provide the best care.

Endocrinology

Evaluate and follow up on pediatric patients with suspected or existing endocrine conditions, including sexual developmental disorders/differences, puberty, growth, thyroid, adrenal. We also evaluate and follow up on patients with suspected or confirmed syndromes, such as Turner’s syndrome, Klinefelter’s, Prader-Willi (or other syndromic causes of obesity), etc.

Clinique d’immigration

With globalization and the accessibility of travel, many diseases have been introduced to Canada. Some diseases, such as tuberculosis or strongyloidiasis, remain asymptomatic for a long period. However, other diseases, such as hemoglobinopathies or nutritional deficiencies, can also significantly impact children’s health.

It is with a culturally sensitive approach and by adjusting the check-ups according to the level of risk of the country of origin that the ELNA Tiny Tots Immigration Clinic contributes even more to the well-being of our children.

Adolescent Medicine

Evaluate, diagnose and treat menstrual irregularities, delayed or premature puberty, pre- or post-pubertal gynecological problems (labial adhesions, anatomical problems, sexually transmitted infections or STIs, etc.).

Evaluate and follow up on pediatric patients experiencing eating disorders by providing the basic structure of family therapy, the evidence-based standard of care.

Provide medical care for at-risk teenagers - those with high-risk behaviors, disabilities, and mental health issues.

Social Worker

Evaluate, refer, and follow up on pediatric patients with behavioral and emotional difficulties, mental health issues, and bullying issues. Individual and family sessions are offered, depending on the child’s needs.

Soins-infirmiers

Nursing

The nurse’s activities cover the following areas: prevention, promotion, evaluation, follow-up, coordination, and teaching. The nurse collaborates with the doctors and other professionals to ensure a concerted follow-up of the pediatric patients’ needs. Furthermore, the nurse is also available to teach/counsel, upon referral from a doctor, on several health issues, such as breastfeeding, sleep, nasal hygiene, medication administration, constipation.

Our History

Tiny Tots was founded in Dollard-des-Ormeaux in 1985 by Dr. Murray Katz. In 1997, Dr. Benjamin Burko oversaw the clinic's expansion, allowing Tiny Tots to become a renowned multidisciplinary clinic and significantly expand the team.

With its success, a second Tiny Tots clinic opened in Decarie Square in 2009. In 2017, Tiny Tots joined Elna Medical.
