Dr. Nowak completed his medical studies at the University of Krakow, the second oldest university in Europe. He then immigrated to the Calgary area. After completing his 2-year residency in general practice and family practice, Dr. Nowak pursued a full-time career in medicine. For the first 10 years of his career, his practice included obstetrics at the former Grace Hospital in Calgary. He also worked in all areas of family medicine.
Dr. Nowak developed a special interest in sports medicine which aligned with his personal passions of skiing and water sports. He finds it extremely rewarding to interact with so many people from different countries.
Dr. Nowak lives in Calgary with his 2 children. He admires the beauty of Canada and has travelled to the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia many times. He hopes to travel and visit Poland and Maui during his retirement.
