A consultation with a pediatric orthopedist may be helpful.

Pediatric orthopedics is a medical field specializing in the treatment of diseases of the bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons, and nerves in children. Since children’s bodies are still developing, they have a very different joint, muscle, and bone composition than adults.

Our pediatric orthopedists have extensive experience in caring for children and teenagers. You can count on our experts to provide the most personalized care for your child aimed at restoring maximum function and confidence. We are a multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals who work closely to provide your child with the best possible care.

From our waiting room to our exam room, our clinics were designed with your child’s comfort in mind.

Your child may require a consultation for one of the following conditions:

  • Scoliosis
  • Kyphosis
  • Fractures
  • Bone deformities
  • Flat feet
  • Juvenile hallux valgus, also called known as bunions
  • In-toeing
  • Out-toeing
  • Congenital disorders, etc.

Your children are in good hands with experts you can trust.

What happens during a consultation with a pediatric orthopedist?

First consultation
During the first consultation, your pediatric orthopedist will ask you a few questions about your child’s symptoms and medical history, and perform an examination. Additional tests such as an X-ray or an MRI may be required. Once a diagnosis is made, the doctor will discuss a treatment plan with you and schedule any additional procedures that may be required.

Depending on the diagnosis, the orthopedist may recommend the use of a brace, physical therapy, or surgery. Follow-up visits may be necessary depending on your child’s specific situation.
