Dr. Liberman completed his medical training at McGill University and his urology specialty at the Université de Montréal. During his training, he was fortunate to take advantage of the research opportunities available to complete a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences at the Université de Montréal.
He also completed a fellowship in genitourinary reconstruction at the University of Minnesota for the treatment of urethral strictures and the management of complications after prostate cancer treatment (incontinence, erectile dysfunction). Dr. Liberman also subspecializes in urinary diversions, continence, and incontinence for neurogenic bladder, as well as the repair of complicated urinary fistulas.
Dr. Liberman made a second fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive surgery at the Metro Urology Clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This clinic is associated with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. These centers have an excellent reputation in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence, urinary dysfunction, painful pelvic syndromes and pelvic organ prolapse. In the field of research, Dr. Liberman has over forty publications published in peer-reviewed journals and more than fifty presentations.
