The ELNA Medical Group supports humanitarian aid efforts for Israel against the terrorist attacks

ELNA Medical firmly condemns the recent terrorist attacks perpetuated by Hamas in Israel and offers its heartfelt support to ELNA’s employees, doctors, and medical personnel, especially those who have loved ones in the affected areas.

Condemning Terrorism and Offering Support in Troubled Times

At ELNA Medical Group, we believe in humanity and the importance of empathy, compassion, and unity, especially during adversity, and we will not tolerate any form of violence or apology for terrorism. We offer our thoughts and support to all who are affected by this tragedy and stand with the people of Israel, reaffirming our commitment to peace and the well-being of all.

While we cannot erase the pain and suffering caused by such acts of violence, we can make a positive impact by offering our support. In this spirit, ELNA Medical Group:

  • donates $52,000 to support urgent humanitarian aid efforts
  • provides free psychological support to any employee who may be affected by this tragedy, through our specialized clinic in mental health, Neurothérapie Montréal

“I encourage each one of you to keep the victims, wounded and hostages in your thoughts and prayers during these challenging times. In our daily lives, let’s promote a message of humanity, peace and unity and continue to foster a world in which people of all backgrounds can live together harmoniously.” declared Laurent Amram, President and Founder of the ELNA Medical Group.

ELNA mobilises for Truth and Reconciliation Day

Every year on September 30, Canada celebrates Truth and Reconciliation Day, a day dedicated to acknowledging the legacy of residential schools. At ELNA Médical, we believe in the importance of this day and are committed to supporting this crucial cause of national reconciliation.

“Every child matters” orange t-shirt

The orange t-shirt has become a powerful symbol of Truth and Reconciliation Day. This vibrant colour represents hope, respect and understanding.

This year, ELNA Medical’s medical and administrative staff are proudly wearing the orange t-shirt with the message “Every Child Matters” to honour residential school survivors, their families and their communities, especially children.

Wearing this shirt is much more than a simple symbolic gesture. It’s a reminder of our responsibility towards truth and reconciliation, and a sign of solidarity with Aboriginal communities in Quebec and across Canada. We are showing our unwavering support for recognition of the abuse suffered by aboriginal children in residential schools.

Our ongoing support

We remember that reconciliation is an ongoing process and that we must work together to understand and heal the scars of the past. At ELNA Medical, our commitment to reconciliation is not limited to a single day. We are determined to make a significant contribution to this cause throughout the year.

Our healthcare professionals are committed to providing care that is equitable for all communities, but that meets the specific needs of each individual. We reiterate our determination to be part of the solution and to build a better future for all Canadians. Join us in this endeavour, because together we can make a real difference.

A new look for Medicentres clinics

A breath of modern air blows through the ELNA network! Following the overhaul of ELNA Medical’s brand image, it’s now the turn of our Medicentres clinics to get rejuvenation. By adopting a new, more modern and elegant brand image, Medicentres is initiating a real transformation for its 35 clinics located in Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario.

Renovation of the flagship clinic in Edmonton

The first clinic to benefit from this metamorphosis is Westgrove in Edmonton, Alberta. This is the very first Medicentres clinic to open, and renowned doctors such as family doctors Dr. Gritter and Dr. Kumpala work there.

From the exterior signage to the reception area and waiting room, everything has been designed in a contemporary, clean and welcoming style.

This transformation marks the start of a new era for Medicentres clinics, where the well-being of patients, healthcare professionals and administrative staff is at the heart of everything we do.

From the moment they enter the renovated clinic, visitors will be seduced by the elegant and reassuring atmosphere. Far from the austere look that can sometimes be associated with medical establishments, the new Medicentres clinics now boast a neat, modern design that is sure to soothe the senses.

The transformation of the Medicentres network

This reflects the ELNA network’s commitment to healthcare excellence and its ongoing drive to improve the experience of patients and healthcare professionals.

This commitment to modernisation does not stop there. The Medicentres network plans to gradually renovate all its facilities. Medicentres is due to open a new clinic before the end of the year at Dickinsfield Mall (Edmonton, Alberta). It will be the second clinic to benefit from this new image.
