Dr. Émilie Boisvert followed a training in medicine at the Université de Sherbrooke. After 5 years in practice, she acquired a wide range of experience, touching on almost every aspect of family medicine, from the delivery room to “medical assistance in dying”, to the office, short-term hospitalization and emergency.
This immersion gradually led her to clinic management. Today, Dr. Boisvert holds key positions as physician manager for the ELNA St-Mathieu-de-Beloeil clinic, physician in charge of the GMF Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil and Assistant Director of Professional Services at CISSS Montérégie Est. Her professional career has also been highlighted by high-level responsibilities, notably as Head of the Obstetrics Department.
Passionate about project management, she values teamwork in medical practice, surrounding herself with competent healthcare professionals to deliver quality care to patients. Her vision advocates autonomy of practice, rigor, honesty and openness. She recognizes the crucial role of every member of her team, including the secretaries, who have a very demanding job.
