Dr. Abbey was born and raised in Montreal, and graduated from McGill University’s dental program. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s degree in psychiatry. After graduation, she continued her training as a resident at Montreal Children’s Hospital, one of McGill’s renowned residency programs. She improved her clinical skills and treated a wide range of pediatric patients who often required specialized and/or emergency care. She became very skilled in behavior management and sedation techniques, including nitrous oxide, which allowed her to calm and comfort even the most anxious or reserved child.
Dr. Abbey is a very empathetic and caring person by nature. Her educational background is an asset to her approach to dentistry. She brings passion and enthusiasm to her practice and has a strong commitment to early childhood education, disease prevention, and continuous patient-centered care.
