Biography

Over 35 years experience in Mental Heath. Former Assistant Professor at McGill University, Department of Psychiatry. Expert in ketamine and neurostimulation as a treatment for refractory psychiatric disorders. Medical Director of Psychiatric Intensive Care, Hospital Douglas (1984 2021). Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, McGill University, Recipient of several awards of excellence. Former Clinician researcher at the research center of the Douglas Institute, involved in several research clinics in the field of schizophrenia, antipsychotics, antidepressants and disorders of mood. Lecturer and teacher in psychiatry and primary care, in-depth knowledge of the disorders of mood, seasonal depression and neuromodulation. Since 2021, within the CRTCE, shares its expertise in the use of ketamine as a treatment for refractory psychiatric disorders.
