Dr. Friedlander earned his medical degree from McGill University, where he also completed his internal medicine and cardiology training. Additionally, he has a fellowship in advanced (Level 3) echocardiography that was completed at the Jewish General Hospital. Dr Friedlander practises primarily at Notre-Dame Hospital where he has served as the Chief of the Department of Cardiology since 2017. Dr. Friedlander’s other places of practice include the Jewish General Hospital, where he is an associate member of the Department of Cardiology, as well as the McGill University Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, where he is a part-time faculty lecturer. His interests include clinical cardiology, echocardiography and medical education.
