Dr. Sarah Wizman is a pediatrician dedicated to the health of all children and caring for her five children. She is a consultant in general pediatrics and specializes in infectious diseases. In 2016, she founded the first purely pediatric travel clinic in Montreal at Club Tiny Tots. Since 2018, she has gone on to establish an immigration clinic at ELNA Pediatrics to serve Montreal’s diverse population. In 2021, Dr. Wizman became the Medical Director of ELNA Pediatrics Décarie and strives to build a centre of academic excellence by training medical students and residents, organizing continuing medical education seminars and providing quality control of medical care for children. She is working to expand the clinic’s multidisciplinary services to provide the best possible outpatient pediatric care. She has also been appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Pediatrics at McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Her research interests include congenital CMV and vaccination. During the pandemic, she was an outspoken advocate in the media on the issue of the safety and effectiveness of vaccination against COVID-19. Her further training in art and painting has brought colour, finesse and positive energy to her daily practice of the art of medicine.
