Dr. Eric Sabbah completed his medical studies at U de M and his cardiology training at the Montreal Heart Institute, where he was a coordinating resident.
He has been practicing general cardiology for 30 years at the Pierre-Boucher and Anna-Laberge hospitals, serving a vast clientele on Montreal’s South Shore.
His interests are wide-ranging: he is an ultrasonographer, Director of the Heart Failure Clinic at Pierre Boucher Hospital, has been Director of Continuing Medical Education at the hospital, has been a lecturer to general practitioners and specialists for 25 years, Director of the Centre de dépistage et Recherche Clinique de la Rive-Sud and principal investigator in numerous multicenter studies, and President of the Centre cardio-vasculaire Rive Sud where over 15,000 patients are cared for and monitored.
Recently, he collaborated on a pilot project for a virtual lipid clinic for the entire extended South Shore clientele.
