Health check-up

The health check-up allows for a complete assessment of your physical and mental health. This appointment also helps determine your risk factors to prevent diseases you may be exposed to. The annual exam generally includes:

  • Collection of information by the nurse
  • Medical questionnaire (lifestyle habits, medical history, etc.)
  • Comprehensive physical exam
  • Monitoring of chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension, etc.)
  • Prescription renewal
  • Verification of your vaccination status
  • Requisition for blood tests

Pediatric Follow-ups

Pediatric follow-up in the clinic is essential to ensure the growth, development, and overall well-being of children. It involves regular follow-ups with their assigned family doctor.

Pediatric follow-up allows for:

  • monitoring the child’s physical growth
  • detecting potential health problems
  • answering parents’ questions, and providing advice on nutrition, sleep, motor and cognitive development, and other aspects of the child’s health and well-being
  • Updating vaccination according to the regular childhood vaccination schedule

During this type of visit, the doctor usually performs physical exams to assess the child’s growth and development, such as measuring height, weight, and head circumference.

The doctor may recommend screening tests, such as vision or hearing tests. The on-site nurse can also administer recommended vaccines according to the Quebec Immunization Protocol.

Mental Health

Mental Health Hands HoldingMental health care and follow-ups are essential aspects of a person’s overall well-being.

The initial assessment is the first step in mental health care. It involves evaluating symptoms, medical and family history, stress factors, and the individual’s needs. Our team of doctors and nurse practitioners are all competent in mental health matters, dealing with various issues such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Burnout

Based on the initial assessment, a personalized treatment plan is developed. This plan may include a combination of therapy, medication, and other therapeutic approaches. Regular follow-up is crucial to monitor treatment progress, adjust the treatment plan if necessary, and provide ongoing support to the individual.

Our team is committed to your physical and psychological well-being.

Managing ADHD in children and adults

Our family doctors are trained in the management and follow-up of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children and adults. They can accompany patients on a regular basis to assess response to treatment, monitor medication side effects and adjust the treatment plan if necessary. They offer ongoing support to patients and their families, providing the most personalized follow-up possible.

Maternal Mental Health

Because nothing matters more than the health of your family, present and future.

Maternal mental health is a cornerstone of family well-being. A mother’s emotional state deeply influences family dynamics, impacting care, relationships, and decisions. Preconception, pregnancy, and the postpartum period are important and sometimes critical moments for a family. Therefore, by working on their well-being, women can prepare to welcome their baby and have a direct impact on their future health.

We offer the possibility of having a family doctor who can accompany you from the first step of a future pregnancy to the postpartum phase by integrating mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being into all aspects of overall health. Our qualified professionals can support and accompany you with quick care and regular follow-ups:

Pregnancy Follow Up

Pregnant Woman
We offer the possibility of having a family doctor who can accompany you from the first step of a future pregnancy to the postpartum phase by integrating mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being into all aspects of overall health.

Maternal mental health is a cornerstone of family well-being. A mother’s emotional state deeply influences family dynamics, impacting care, relationships, and decisions. Preconception, pregnancy, and the postpartum period are important and sometimes critical moments for a family.

Many studies in psychology show the impact of a woman’s emotional life and state of mind on the baby’s epigenetics. This is called perinatal imprinting. Babies are very sensitive to their environment, and healing unresolved emotional issues before and during pregnancy can minimize their impact on the child. By working on their own well-being, women can prepare to welcome their baby and have a direct impact on their future health. Our qualified professionals can support and accompany you!
