Dr. Kumpula earned his medical degree from the University of Alberta. He is also certified by the College of Family Physicians. Dr. Kumpula is an associate member of the Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine.
He is a family physician who has been practicing in Alberta for 14 years. He enjoys providing a full spectrum of family medicine care, with special interest in occupational medicine, sports medicine and point-of-care ultrasound.
He is passionate about healthcare finance and works to find innovative and sustainable solutions to healthcare’s biggest challenges in quality and cost. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, traveling, and is interested in technology.
