CDL offers sample collection and testing with a requisition, with or without an appointment. For tests available without a requisition under a collective prescription, you’ll need an appointment with a nurse.

What’s included

  • A requisition from a health care professional is usually required
  • Check any fasting or preparation instructions for your tests
  • Most results are available within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the test
  • Receipts are provided; direct billing is available with some insurers, subject to eligibility
You can get tested for urinary tract infections, pregnancy, strep throat, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV without a doctor’s requisition through services provided under collective prescriptions. Book an appointment with a nurse to check your eligibility and have the appropriate tests done or arranged. Treatment is prescribed when needed, in accordance with the applicable protocol.

Start with a medical consultation and blood tests from $575. If your doctor recommends an iron infusion, you can receive it here at the centre.

Infusion fees cover administration only. The iron preparation is not included and must be purchased separately.

Our team will follow up on your results and contact you as soon as possible if a result is abnormal. We can also help coordinate specialist appointments when needed.
